RIFTEC sets the standard

Finally: After three years only – you may laugh, but there is a lot of work in it - the revision of the ISO 25239 has been finished.

We expect it to be published in spring 2020. In 2016, our commercial director, Dr. Axel Meyer, established a working group that was responsible for the revision of the first standard for friction stir welding. Hundreds of comments and suggestions have been processed since then. At the beginning of November, the closing session took place in Tokyo. Thanks to all our colleagues for the constructive cooperation!
